The annual Ed Reed / Valero Golf Classic was held this year on Monday, June 23 at Belle Terre Country Club in LaPlace, Louisiana.

The tournament featured Reed, the current standout football player for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League. Reed is originally from this area where he graduated from Destrehan High School, and usually gets some of his NFL buddies or other professional athletes to join in the tournament.

Valero teamed up with Reed to help support this major fundraising golf tournament, joining with him in his attempts to help young people in the area.

The tournament cost $200 per person to enter, $800 per team, and included a host of great fun activities during the day at the course, as well as plenty of food and drinks.

There were two tee times, offering golfers a chance to tee off at 7:30 a.m., or at 1 p.m., before the dinner and awards are held that night at 7 p.m.
